RUSSIAN FANS’ EMBASSY AT FRIENDLY MATCH FRANCE – RUSSIA

The Fans’ Embassy Russia in cooperation with Football Supporters Europe, the French Football Federation and the Russian Football Union is organizing Fans’ Embassy services for Russian fans at the friendly game between Russia and France in Paris on 29 March.

Paris is especially beautiful in the spring and even more attractive in the light of the coming friendly game at the Stade de France where these two national teams are meeting less than three months before EURO 2016!

Football Supporters Europe and Fans’ Embassy Russia could not leave this game without active involvement and are organizing the test fans’ embassy services on match day as a part of the preparation for their work in the EURO 2016 Host Cities.

The French Football Federation, Russian Football Union, French security and local volunteers will also be actively involved in the work of the Fans’ Embassy Russia during this match day. Thus, a special information point is arranged near the stadium between gates A and B just on the way to the away sector. It will be beginning its work at 14.00. Football fans can easily access the Fans’ Embassy and receive necessary support and information.

A “Hotline” service (+79258000367) is being organized in cooperation with the Russian Football Union and will be available one day before the match. Local police, stadium security, the FFF security officer and the FFF fans relations officer will visit the Fans’ Embassy Russia information point and support its operations. A Russian Football Union representative will also be fully involved in the work of the Fans’ Embassy team, together with local volunteers who are going through their training for EURO 2016.

Fans’ Embassy is the name that has been given to an advice, information and support service for football supporters travelling to international tournaments or away games in foreign countries, organised by fans and for fans. For more than 20 years Fans’ Embassy initiatives have contributed to festive atmospheres and reduced tensions and violence at major tournaments. Developed by supporters, the concept today is recognized as best practice policy in the area of safety & prevention at European level.
